Healing, maybe even magical music. This is how one could describe Jazz. All of Lithuanian Jazz lovers are invited to an astounding evening of three of the best professional Jazz players Lithuania has to offer — “Jazz Brothers”, presented by producing company Ars Libera International.
The quintet “Jazz Brothers” are at their best, when they play music resembling the Fusion style of Jazz. It is temperamental, breezy, passionate and easy to listen to, as the music lovers are entranced by the professional improvisations.
“Jazz Brothers” as Jazz quintet formed in 2001, because of the initiation of Artūras Chalikovas. This band has traveled bringing joy with them all over Lithuania, have participated in a lot of local and international music festivals. Over 14 years of existence, the “Jazz Brothers” have said their goodbyes and welcomed new brothers to their collective. With the band played such musicians as drummers Linas Būda, Darius Rudis, saxophonist Tomas Botyrius, keyboardist Egidijus Buožis. The first quintet bass player was Vladislav Borkovski.
The skilful and innovative band nowadays consists of Artūras Chalikovas, Rimantas Brazaitis (saxophone), Arvydas Joffė (percussion), Raimundas Dauginas (keyboard) and Ugnius Butkus (bass guitar).
