Heeding the call of production company “Arts Libera International”, the famous violoncello artist and composer from the United States, Ian Maksin, is coming to Lithuania. An excellent soloist and participant in a wide variety of international ensembles, the artist has traveled and performed in over 30 nations of the world, playing together with other world-renowned musicians such as Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Gloria Estefan, Barry Gibb, among many others. Ian Maksin possesses a unique charm, allowing him to play out classical music with orchestral accompaniment, solo jazz or rock in a fresh and unique way, enchanting audiences all over the world. Now, the artist will join forces with Lithuania’s guitarist Martynas Kuliavas to unleash the magic of music in three Lithuanian cities. The artist admitted that performing together with famous guitar virtuoso will be a fresh challenge for him, one he’s been anticipating for a long time.

Lithuanian crowd is already looking forward to the spectacular event. The project, taking place here for the first time, will undoubtedly go down in Lithuania‘s cultural history as an unforgettable spectacle. One can only imagine the powerful energy echoing from the stage, as the great virtuosos will join their longtime professionalism and creative power.

The event program is very wide and varied – from the golden classics to fiery tango, jazz and rock compositions. According to the artists, the artistic program is specially prepared for an audience that knows how to appreciate emotional, sincere, high class music, capable of enchanting and uplifting one’s spirit. Audiences will be delighted with works of world-famous composers, such as J. S. Bach, A. Piazzolla, The Beatles, A. Vivaldi, Ch. Corea, B. Goodman, D. Ellington, I. Maksin, Sting, and others. Performances will be full of virtuosic improvisations, unexpected harmonies, impressive melodies and delightful surprises. The artists promise an excellent and unforgettable event.
